Langston is Director of Community Partnerships and Strategy at the Greater Milwaukee Committee where he builds relationships to improve the health and wellbeing of all Milwaukeeans.

Langston previously served the people of Milwaukee as Director of Health Strategy at the City of Milwaukee Health Department. In this role, he led a dynamic team of staff to advance community engagement, systems improvement, and policy.

He is founder of MKE FreshAir Collective, a community-based air quality monitoring project which aims to use neighborhood-level data to influence environmental health policy and improve health outcomes.

Langston has over 18 years of experience in public health and is committed to creating environments where children and families thrive. He received his Master of Public Health degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Zilber College of Public Health with a focus on public health policy and administration and is an alumnus of Marquette University’s Future Milwaukee program.

Langston has a passion for community and social justice and is co-founder of Milwaukee’s Summer of Peace initiative. Established in 2002, this youth led non-violence program has touched the lives of tens of thousands of children and expanded with an annual peace summit on Chicago’s Southside.

In his spare time, Langston enjoys staying active… from the simple neighborhood walks with his family to playing in competitive kickball and paintball leagues.
